Blockly is a graphical programming language very similar to Scratch. You can use Blockly to quickly gain some basic skills for drag and click programming. I like to use Blockly to introduce students to the idea of Scratch because it is not as distracting as similar programs packed with unnecessary frills (i.e., funny cartoons, sounds, drawing tools, etc.).
