Create Lessons Using TED or YouTube Videos

Hopefully you are familiar with TED.com. If not, here’s a description from their site:

TED is a platform for ideas worth spreading. Started in 1984 as a conference where technology, entertainment and design converged, TED today shares ideas from a broad spectrum — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages. Meanwhile, independent TEDx events help share ideas in communities around the world.

If you are classroom teacher, you might have created some lessons around a few TED videos. To make that process easier, TED has created TED-Ed. Teachers can now build lessons around any TED-Ed Original, TED Talk, or YouTube video using a template created by the TED people. Here’s an example:
